Dr Hamid Zaeimkohan, Chairman of WKF- ADC said: "We hold a pre-championship re-educational course on 11 November 2009 for Doping Control Officers and Chaperons in order to do the doping control testing compliance with WADA Code and International Standards".
He added: "we took plenty of Doping Control samples during all days of championship from whole categories; besides I would like to acknowledge all Doping Control Officer and chaperones who worked hard and sincerely during the championship from early morning to late night".
"Anti Doping Educational Programs is the WKF first priority for fight against Doping"; Anti Doping Chairman said. He added:" in order to implementation of WKF-ADC rules, we believe education is more powerful than sampling so we insist on education and research beside Doping Control Sampling". He continued:" our statistics and research shows Karate is one the most clean sports in the world so via education and improvement of worldwide Karat community's knowledge we can prevent any probably Anti doping violations.
We prepared Anti Doping Reference (CD) in English and French Languages based on WADA sources and distributed during EC Meeting, Medical Meeting, Anti Doping Meeting, Coached Meeting, WKF working breakfast, and to participated athletes and spectators of championship.
