The President of the World Karate Federation Mr. Antonio Espinós met in Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) with the Minister of Education His Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, in the light of a conference on Sport and School where the Saudi Arabia Karate Federation, presided by Dr. Ibrahim Algannas, is playing a very important role in the introduction of Karate into the school system in Saudi Arabia early next year.
The WKF thanked His Highness for the interest in the introduction of sport and in particular Karate in the schools of the country. Also Mr. Espinós met with the President and representatives of the Saudi Karate Federation and plans for helping the Federation in catching up in referee and technical domains were made. The WKF President expressed his satisfaction for the work that is being done by Dr. Algannas and the Federation team, looking forward to meet all of them in Paris next November for the World Championships.
