OLYMPIC KARATE

Karate will make its Olympic debut at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The first appearance of Karate at the Olympic Games will take place in the birth nation of the sport and in the same venue of the first Karate World Championships: Nippon Budokan. Moreover, Karate experienced its first Olympic event at the 2019 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. Additionally, Karate has also been included in the sports programme of the 2022 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.
