WKF President Stresses Progress of Judging in Karate at Referee Briefing of #Karate1Casablanca

The Referee Briefing for the 2024 Karate 1 Premier League in Casablanca set the stage for the event starting this Friday and stated the advancements of judging at Karate events around the world. Headed by WKF Referee Commission Chairman Javier Escalante, the meeting was attended by WKF President Antonio Espinós and Morocco Karate Federation President Mohamed Mouktabil. The discussions were managed by WKF Referee Commission Secretary Fariba Madani.
During the meeting, the focus was on reviewing and updating the application of rules to ensure clarity and fairness throughout the competition. This briefing serves as a critical touchpoint for referees to align on the latest standards and interpretations of the sport's rules as the last Karate 1-Premier League event is scheduled to start on Friday.
WKF President Antonio Espinós said:
