WKF President Highlights Role of Coaches Ahead of Karate World Cup

Coaches, team staff members and WKF officials gathered for a meeting led by World Karate Federation (WKF) President Antonio Espinós ahead of the start of Karate World Cup in Pamplona, Spain. The event, held ahead of the year’s biggest karate competition, focused on fine-tuning the organisational, behavioural, and competitive elements of the tournament.
As the most prestigious karate event on the calendar, the Karate World Cup attracts the sport’s finest athletes and fans around the globe looking forward to witnessing the excitement of the team competition.
During the meeting, discussions centred on maintaining the exceptional standards that the Karate World Championships is known for. Key topics included effective coaching practices, fair play, and strategies to showcase karate’s global appeal.
