WKF official elected Vice President of Union of African Sports Confederations

WKF Vice President and UFAK President Mohamed Tahar Mesbahi was elected first Vice President of the Union of African Sports Confederations (UCSA). The organisation comprising the main sports confederations in Africa celebrated its General Assembly in Cairo (Egypt) and chose the Karate official to continue heading the high-profile union. 

WKF Vice President and UFAK President Mohamed Tahar Mesbahi was elected first Vice President of the Union of African Sports Confederations (UCSA). The organisation comprising the main sports confederations in Africa celebrated its General Assembly in Cairo (Egypt) and chose the Karate official to continue heading the high-profile union. 

The gathering was attended by all 63 members, including the ten new confederations which were d into the organisation. The plenary body of UCSA decided to re-elect President Major General Ahmed Nasser Mohamed to lead the union. Mr Mohamed Tahar Mesbahi was designated first Vice President for a new four-year term. 

The General Assembly had Egypt’s Sports Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhy and Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ACNOA) President Mustapha Berraf were among its attendees.
