Top sports authorities visit Karate competition at The World Games

The influence of Karate in high-level sports events was further stated this week at The World Games. The thrilling tournament captured the attention of fans attending the two-day competition in Wroclaw, and top sports authorities showed their support for the ancient modality with their presence at the event.

The Karate competition at The World Games received the visit of the Secretary of Sports of Japan Daichi Suzuki. The head of the top sports institution in the ry attended the two days of action at Gem sports complex in Wroclaw and witnessed first-hand the triumphant performance of the representatives of the birth nation of the sport. 

Mr. Suzuki was welcomed at the event by WKF President Antonio Espinós, who thanked the former Olympian for his support for Karate. Mr. Espinós and Mr. Suzuki discussed the impact of Karate in Japan, and Mr. Suzuki was d on the actions ahead of the upcoming Olympic debut of the sport. 

The Karate competition in Wroclaw also had the attendance of IWGA President Jose Perurena. WKF President Antonio Espinós addressed the importance that the multi-sport event has had on the development of Karate, and expressed his appreciation for the contribution that the head of the International World Games Association has made in the successful participation of Karate in The World Games.
