The Female Kata category saw a mesmerising performance by Kiri Mishima of Japan, who emerged victorious after securing a well-deserved win against Sakura Alforte of the Philippines with a score of 42.80 to 40.10.
Female Kumite: Two golds for Japan
In the Female Kumite divisions, up-and-coming karatekas emerged victorious.
Shahmalarani Chandran of Malaysia claimed the top spot in the -50kg category, triumphing over Eva Rodriguez Loredo of Spain with a score of 9-5, while Rina Kodo of Japan displayed her prowess in the -55kg division, securing a 5-3 victory against Mirna Attia of Egypt.
Meanwhile, in the -61kg category, Darya Yervacheva of Ukraine dominated her opponent, Indira Del Mar Zuniga Garcia of Spain, with a decisive 9-4 win.
In the All-Japan final of the -68kg division, Sara Terazawa of Japan showcased her skill, narrowly defeating teammate Kanna Nagai in a close encounter with a score of 3-2.
The Female Kumite divisions concluded with the +68kg category, where Amelie Luecke of Germany emerged victorious, overpowering Stefani Kresic of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a score of 5-1.
Male Kata: Tight victory for Ryusei Ikeda
The Male Kata was a showcase of Japanese dominance, with two athletes from the birth nation of the sport clashing for the title. Ryusei Ikeda of Japan clinched victory narrowly defeating teammate Yasuhiro Machida with a score of 42.40 to 42.30.
Male Kumite: Former World champion Bahman Asgari Ghoncheh leads way to gold
Mert Halici of Turkiye emerged as the champion of the -60kg Category, overcoming Juan David Forero of Colombia with a score of 3-1 as Vinicius Figueira of Brazil secured a 6-2 victory against Nuran Rzazade of Azerbaijan to win the title of -67kg Category.
In the -75kg division, former World champion Bahman Asgari Ghoncheh of Iran showcased his dominance with a commanding 7-1 win against Keisei Sakiyama of Japan.
Meanwhile, in the -84kg category, Ryukai Matsumoto of Japan displayed technical brilliance, securing a 3-0 victory over Melos Gashi of Albania.
The Male Kumite divisions were wrapped up with the 84+kg Category that ended with Fumiya Yoshimura of Japan emerging victorious after defeating Merabi Gelashvili of Georgia with a score of 2-0.
Team Kata: Victories for Kuwait and Spain
The team events added an extra layer of excitement, with impressive performances by the winning teams. In Male Team Kata, Kuwait claimed victory, outshining France 1 with a score of 44.40 to 41.40. In Female Team Kata, Spain showcased their synchronized skills, beating Brazil with a score of 41.90 to 38.00.
