The third day of competition of the 2021 Karate World Senior Championships is underway with plenty of Karate action in-store today for fans around the world.

Day 3 of #KarateDubai2021 has the Kumite repechages, Kata categories and the first rounds of Team Kumite taking the stage.

A set of defending World champions will be taking the spotlight today. Current #KarateWorldChamps and Olympic gold medallists Sandra Sanchez of Spain and Ryo Kiyuna of Japan are showcasing their kata level today as they are on a quest to retain their World titles.

Meanwhile, World champions who went into the repechages will have the opportunity to clash for their chances to continue fighting for the medals. Dorota Banaszczyk of Poland in her new category of Female Kumite -61kg and Ivan Kvesic of Croatia in Male Kumite -84kg are the #KarateWorldChamps fighting for bronze in the repechages.

The final round of pool in the Kata competition will be available on the WKF YouTube channel. Due to the restrictions for the TV rights distribution, only the final rounds of eliminations are to be streamed live on YouTube.
