Polish Karate Union president attends momentous Polish Olympic Committee General Assembly

The president of the Polish Karate Union PaweÅ‚ PoÅ‚torzecki attended a special edition of the General Assembly of the Polish Olympic Committee. The Olympic sports organisation in the European country is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and karate representatives in the country participated in the commemoration. 

The president of the Polish Karate Union Pawel Poltorzecki attended a special edition of the General Assembly of the Polish Olympic Committee. The Olympic sports organisation in the European country is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and karate representatives in the country participated in the commemoration.

Held in the Polish capital of Warsaw, the meeting was an opportunity to celebrate the inclusion of Karate in the list of sports of the 2023 European Games. The next edition of Karate’s multi-sport event is taking place in Krakow-Malopolska (Poland) in 2023. Early last month, it was announced that Karate will be one of the sports in the programme of the anticipated event.

Polish Karate Union president Pawel Poltorzecki thanked Polish Olympic Committee (PKOL) president Andrzej Krasnicki and PKOL Vice President Tomasz Poreba for their support.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Polish Olympic Committee, Polish Karate Union president Pawel Poltorzecki received a commemorative medal to honour the celebration.
