Para Karate added to Virtus Global Games

The 2023 edition of the Virtus Global Games will have Para-Karate as one of the disciplines included in the sports programme of the event.
The most prestigious annual multi-sports events for intellectually impaired athletes, the 2023 Virtus Global Games will be held in Vichy (France) from June 4 to 10. The Para-Karate competition is scheduled for June 8.
The best Para-Karatekas of the category of intellectually impaired will travel to Vichy to participate in the multi-sport event, which for this edition will have 12 sports on the programme and two demonstration sports. Karate is one of the official disciplines together with Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Basketball, Futsal, Cycling Road and track, Equestrian, Rowing, Judo, and Taekwondo.
It is the first time that Para-Karate is included in the programme of the Virtus Global Games, a testament to the development of Para-Karate disciplines around the world.
