One Week to Historic 2024 Karate World Cup in Pamplona

The 2024 Karate World Cup is one week to go! The Best Karate in the World!

With just one week remaining, excitement builds for the 2024 Karate World Cup, set to take place in Pamplona, Spain, from November 22 to 24. The event will bring together elite karate teams from around the world, clashing to become the best Karate teams in the world.

Official registration and the presentation of the event are scheduled for November 21, marking the start of an intense week of preparation and action. Eighty teams have secured their spots in this year’s championship, representing 43 countries across all five continents. The lineup includes 37 teams from Europe, 18 teams from Asia, 12 squads from Pan America, 11 sides from Africa, and two teams from Oceania.  

 

Defending champions include Japan, which holds titles in both the Male and Female Team Kata. Spain, the host country, comes in as the reigning Female Team Kumite champions, while Jordan holds the Male Team Kumite title.

The competition will follow a phased format, beginning with the group stage, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, and culminating in medal bouts. Group phases, quarterfinals, and semifinals will take place on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23.
