Massive Karate 1 Youth League event underway in Venice

The Palainvent sports hall in Venice hosts the closing event of the year of Karate’s international calendar.

The 2021 Karate 1-Youth League Venice is the most massive and most anticipated tournament with participation records being again shattered.

Over 2300 athletes from 54 countries are registered to participate in the 2021 edition of the Karate 1-Youth League Venice. As the participation numbers go back to pre-pandemic times, the event is not only a showcase of the interest of Karate among young ages but a demonstration of the efficiency of the WKF COVID-19 protocol.

Throughout three days of competition, the over 2300 young athletes to participate at the event will compete in the 31 categories at stake. Finals are celebrated every day in the eight tatamis installed at Palainvent sports hall.

A testament to Karate’s popularity among youngsters, the Karate 1-Youth League Venice celebrates the brilliant year of international Karate as the final tournament of the season.

Moreover, the Karate 1-Youth League Venice closes the successful season of Karate’s international events for youngsters which have travelled to Limassol (Cyprus), Porec (Croatia), and Istanbul (Turkey).

The competition in Venice begins Friday and will conclude on Sunday.
