Organised in cooperation with WKF’s Athletes’ Commission, #LearnKarateWith is an initiative by the WKF to give Karate fans around the world the chance to train with some of the best Karate athletes in the world.

Now it is the time to learn from World champion Luca Valdesi of Italy. Considered one of the best kata athletes of all times, Luca Valdesi is a six-time World Championships gold medallist. He won the world titles in individual kata in three consecutive World Championships, showcasing sensational domination of the sport. In addition to his World crowns in individual kata in Monterrey 2004, Tampere 2006 and Tokyo 2008, Valdesi also won the gold medals in Male Team Kata in the World Championships of Monterrey 2004, Tampere 2006 and Belgrade 2010.

Besides taking silver medals in the World Championships of Rio de Janeiro 1998, Belgrade 2010 and Paris 2012, Valdesi was the undisputed European champion from 2000 to 2012.

Luca Valdesi will conduct session 4 of #LearnKarateWith. He will share knowledge around “Gankaku” Kata.
