The Karate 1-Youth League event is underway in Acapulco (Mexico). The tournament is scheduled from Friday to Sunday and gathers hundreds of youngsters from all over the world.

With the arrival of the delegations and the registration, the event was ready to start. All health and safety protocols were followed to ensure the wellbeing of competitors and staff members amid the limitations caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

As the competition draw was finalised, the competition is set to begin on Friday, January 21 at 09:00 (local time). 

The 2022 Karate 1-Youth League Acapulco is the opening event of the year of international Karate.
