The final day of the Karate 1-Series A in Salzburg was filled with high-energy performances, as four champions emerged in their respective categories. The climactic event saw Quentin Mahauden and Maryam Ajaray, both from Belgium, and  Brian Timmermans of the Netherlands and Pamela Bodei of Italy winning the last gold medals at stake.

Male Kumite -84 kg: Brian Timmermans Shines

In the Male Kumite -84 kg category, Brian Timmermans of the Netherlands claimed a dominant victory over Luka Vasadze of Georgia. Timmermans showcased his technical precision and strategic approach, defeating Vasadze with a 6–1 score.

 

Male Kumite -75 kg: Quentin Mahauden Triumphs

Belgium's Quentin Mahauden took the gold in the Male Kumite -75 kg category, delivering a powerful 3-0 win over Italy’s Daniele De Vivo. Mahauden’s style allowed him to outclass De Vivo in a high-profile class.

 

Female Kumite -68 kg: Pamela Bodei Claims Gold

Italy's Pamela Bodei proved her prowess in the Female Kumite -68 kg division with a 4-1 victory over Croatia's Sadea Becirovic. Bodei used her agility and well-timed strikes to keep Becirovic at bay.

 

Female Kumite -61 kg: Maryam Ajaray Wins Intense Battle

Maryam Ajaray of Belgium won a hard-fought contest in the Female Kumite -61 kg final, overcoming Kazakhstan’s Aizhan Bakirova with a 7-5 score. The match was a thrilling back-and-forth affair, with both athletes landing impressive strikes.
