The opening Karate 1-Series A event of the 2023 season will be held in Konya (Turkiye). The tournament is scheduled from March 10 to 12.

Karatekas from all over the world will have the opportunity to earn points to improve their position in the WKF World ranking at the event to be held in Konya. The city in Turkiye hosts a major Karate event after welcoming the Islamic Solidarity Games and the WKF Cadet, Junior, and U21 Championships in 2022.

The Karate 1-Series A Konya inaugurates the season of Karate’s massive series of international events. After Konya, the Karate 1-Series A will travel to Richmond-Vancouver (Canada) in April, to Larnaca (Cyprus) in September, and Matosinhos (Portugal) in November.
