The city of Matosinhos in Portugal hosts the second Karate 1-Premier League of the season.

After the event in Fujairah (UAE), Karate’s first-class series of international events travel to Matosinhos (Portugal) for an anticipated event which is scheduled for April 22 to 24.

It is the second consecutive time that the Iberian nation hosts a Karate 1-Premier League event after the successful tournament in Lisbon in 2021. At the 2021 Karate 1-Premier League Lisbon, nearly 600 athletes from 79 countries took part in the event, a testament to the success of the WKF COVID-19 Protocol as the tournament was held amid the many challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
