Italy dominate Cadet categories of #Karate1Venice

The second day of the 2022 Karate 1-Youth League Venice finished with Italy prevailing in Cadet categories. The organising nation claimed three titles on the second day of the competition.

Hosts of Italy continued demonstrating their excellence in Kata as Roberta Dominici claimed the title of Cadet Kata Female. It wasn’t the only gold medal for the organising country. Salvatore Serino increased the list of honours for Italy in Cadet Kumite Male -52kg while Emanuele Califano followed suit in Cadet Kumite Male -57kg   

After their successful performance on day 1, representatives of Ukraine continued shining in Venice with Dariia Bulay winning gold in Cadet Kumite Female +54kg

The universality of Karate was showcased in Cadet Kumite categories since representatives of no less than eight different countries took home gold medals in Venice. Agnes Nyman of Sweden won the title in Cadet Kumite Female -47kg and Una Rakovic of Montenegro took the crown in Cadet Kumite Female -54kg. In Cadet Kumite Male divisions, Rayan Zoueini of Belgium won gold in Cadet Kumite Male -63kg and Phil Knopp of Germany took the crown in Cadet Kumite Male -70kg  

Gianluca Greco of Venezuela in Cadet Kata Male and Ilias Psomas of Greece in Cadet Kumite Male +70kg completed the list of gold medallists in Cadet categories.
