The new Grand Winners will be honoured next week in Paris. As the French capital hosts the opening event of the season, a special ceremony will take place in Paris to pay tribute to the owners of the “Best of the Best” award.

The Grand Winners crowning ceremony will be held at Pierre de Coubertin sports hall in Paris on January 27th at 13.00 (local time). The 12 best competitors of the last edition of the Karate 1-Premier League will receive the honours of all the Karate world for their excellent performance in the 2018 edition of Karate’s first-class series of international competitions.

The Grand Winners award recognises the karatekas who finish the season on top position in the Karate 1-Premier League standings. The 2018 class of the “Best of the Best” is headed by Spain’s Sandra Sanchez, Turkey’s Serap Ozcelik and Japan’s Ayumi Uekusa who managed to maintain the title that they won the previous year.
