Four Months to Go to Highly-Anticipated 2024 Karate World Cup

The highly-anticipated 2024 Karate World Cup – National Team Championships, is just four months away. Scheduled for November 22 to 24, the tournament will be held in Pamplona, Spain, and expectation is growing rapidly within the karate community as the countdown hits -120 days.

The 2024 Karate World Cup – National Team Championships is set to feature the best karate teams from around the globe. Out of the 80 final teams, 68 have already been confirmed.  

 

The karate world will eagerly be watching the upcoming AKF Senior Championships in Hangzhou, China, since this event, taking place in exactly two months will determine the final 12 teams to qualify for the Karate World Cup.

 

Current champions set to defend their titles include Japan, reigning in both Male and Female Team Kata categories, Jordan, the champions in Male Team Kumite, and Spain, who hold the title in Female Team Kumite.

 

As the final phase of preparations begins, athletes and fans alike are gearing up for an event that promises to be a highlight of the karate calendar. So far 6 teams from Asia, 33 from Europe, 2 from Oceania, 12 from Pan America, and 15 from Africa have qualified for the event in Pamplona, a testament to the global popularity of the sport.

 

Spain, as the host nation, and Italy, Egypt, Turkiye, and France have garnered full representation at the event. Japan, with three teams already qualified at the last edition of the World Championships and the Asian Championships on the horizon, are also expected to have all-around participation in Pamplona.    

 

The countdown is on, and with -120 days remaining, the karate world is ready to witness history in the making at the 2024 Karate World Cup – National Team Championships in Pamplona.
