EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós meets European National Federations in Budapest

EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós sat with the representatives of the European National Federations participating in the 2020 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships in Budapest (Hungary) to celebrate the unity of European Karate.

With the 2020 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships as background, the stakeholders of European Karate gathered today at the Budapest Olympic Centre Arena (BOK csarnok). Headed by Mr Espinós and chaired by Hungarian Karate Federation President János Mészáros, the meeting aimed at celebrating the harmony in European Karate as the leader of the continental organisation outlined his vision and future plans for the sport.

During the meeting, the book “How to Choose a Sport” was presented to the audience. Author and Editor János Nagy, who is a former Olympic athlete and European Championship silver medallist in wrestling, introduced the book to the attendees. Copies of the paperback were distributed to all the representatives of National Federations. The book has a section dedicated to Karate and was created with the cooperation of the World Karate Federation and the Hungarian Karate Federation.

“We can always count with the support of the Hungarian Karate Federation and I would like to thank Mr Mészáros for the great event this week here in Budapest,” said EKF and WKF President Antonio Espinós.
