Crown Prince of Fujairah HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi visits #Karate1Fujairah
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah attended the final day of the 2023 Karate 1-Youth League event which was held in Fujairah (UAE) last week.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah was welcomed at the event by the WKF President Antonio Espinós and WKF Vice-President and President of the UAE Karate Federation Major General Nasser Alrazooqi. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi met with Karate representatives and participated in the medal ceremony of the event. He also hosted a delegation of the WKF at his residency in Fujairah to showcase his support for the sport.
During his meeting with WKF officials, the importance of the celebration of first-class sports events in the UAE was raised, while the country’s status as a major hub of the sport was highlighted.
WKF President Antonio Espinós said:
“I want to thank His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi for taking the time to visit our event and to welcome us at his home, thus allowing us to celebrate with him this memorable tournament in Fujairah and the many values of Karate.
“The 2023 Karate 1-Youth League Fujairah has been a major success, and we highly appreciate all the support that we have received from the highest officials here.”
