Bulletin of UFAK Senior, Junior & Cadet Championships now online

African karatekas now know the path they can follow to become the new African Karate champions.

The bulletin of the 2021 UFAK Senior, Junior & Cadet is now online for all fans to count the days for the anticipated event.

The city of Cairo (Egypt) will host the continental competition which reaches its 20th edition in its Senior division, 12th edition in Junior, and 4th edition in Cadet. The event will take place from December 3 to 5, 2021.

After the postponements due to the coronavirus pandemic, Karate’s major tournament in Africa returns to capture the attention of fans in the event will is scheduled to be held in the capital city of one of the main powerhouse nations in the continent.

Cairo hosts the tournament thus completing a memorable year as organisers of top Karate events following the successful Karate 1-Premier League in September.

The last edition of the UFAK continental championships was held in 2020 in Tangier (Morocco). No less than 300 athletes from 21 countries participated at the event with hosts of Morocco topping the medal table with 37 medals including 15 golds, followed by Egypt and Algeria.

Olympic medallists Giana Lotfy and Feryal Abdelaziz of Egypt and local heroes Adnane Elhakimi, Abdessalam Ameknassi, and Aicha Sayah were among the stars shinning at the event in Tangier.
