The best promising athletes in the Americas gathered this past weekend in Guayaquil (Ecuador) to demonstrate their outstanding abilities and to fight for the domination of the sport in underage categories in the continent.

After four days of competition, the major powerhouse nations of the sport in the Americas claimed the first positions in the medal table. Brazil took the first spot in the final ranking of the event for the third consecutive time after claiming 32 medals including 12 golds. Venezuela repeated in the second position just as it happened last year with 25 medals and nine golds. The third place in the medal table is for the United States with 28 medals and seven golds.
