2023 UFAK Championships in Casablanca

The city of Casablanca in Morocco hosts the 2023 UFAK Senior, Cadet & Junior Championships. The event is scheduled for August 14 to 20, 2023.
Powerhouse nation of Morocco welcomes a major Karate event again as the best karatekas in the continent will be clashing for the African crown in Casablanca. The tournament follows the successful Karate 1-Premier League in Rabat in May, and the 2020 edition of the continental championships in Tangier.
The competition will be held at Palais de Sports Med V sports complex, and it will gather athletes from Cadet to Senior divisions.
The last edition of the continental championships was held last year in Durban (South Africa). Over 300 athletes from 27 countries participated in the event with Egypt topping the final medal table with 32 medals including 19 golds. Representatives of Morocco and Algeria also succeeded in Durban with 22 and 21 medals respectively.
