The season of international Karate starts in Santiago (Chile) with the 2020 Karate 1-Series A Santiago. The tournament will be held from January 10 to 12 and it will be the opening event of the year.

The competition is being held at Polideportivo Estadio Nacional located at Avenue Pedro de Valdivia 4851, this venue was built for the X Games South American Santiago 2014 and has hosted many international events, including the national Karate championships and the last edition of the Karate 1-Series A Santiago.

The competition is organised by the Chilean Karate Federation. Last year over 700 athletes from 67 countries participated at the event.
