The Karate family is hoping to live memorable moments in August. The hopes and dreams of millions of Karate fans around the world are set in Rio de Janeiro, where the inclusion of the sport in the programme of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be decided in the 129th IOC Session to be held in the iconic Brazilian city on August 3rd.

As the world of Karate joins together in enthusiasm to the possibility of seeing its Olympic dreams come true, it is time for all Karatekas to show their support for their favourite sport.

Fans around the world have now the opportunity to demonstrate how strong their support for Karate is and be one of the images of Karate in its quest to Tokyo 2020.

How? Very easy: Simply send your pictures or short video to worldkaratefederation2016@gmail.com with one of the three images below and prove that you are Karate’s biggest fan.

You can choose your message of support and it is up to you to send your pictures and videos with the universal Karate word for respect and greeting “Oss!”, with the self-explanatory “I support” or with your own original message.

The best pictures and videos will be featured in WKF Social Media channels, and the most creative images will be part of a special poster wall to be exhibited in the upcoming 2016 Karate World Championships in Linz.

The bout of a lifetime is days away and Karate needs your support. Say “Oss!” for Karate in Tokyo 2020.
